The Java Developer at Finterra will play a crucial role in contributing to the code development of modules and perform development based on current standards/framework. This includes performing code reviews, writing unit tests, system tests, and system integration test.
◎ Work with Business Analyst and Front-End developers in developing solution as per business requirements.
◎ Develop APIs solution based on understanding of the high-level business requirement given at hand.
◎ Strong desire to learn and grow.
◎ Do research on certain 3rd party integration or any related solution and implementation of the research to a prototype.
◎ Do bug fixing and enhancement as per requirement for the solution.
◎ Participate in the UT and UAT cycle and bug fixing.
◎ Support production deployment and production issues.
Knowledge / experience required
◎ University degree in Business Studies and/or Computer Science or similar
◎ Minimum years of experience in the relevant field 2 years
◎ Experience in Object Oriented and Java EE/J2EE Design Patterns and Related Frameworks (e.g. Spring Framework, Spring Security, JPA, Hibernate, Ajax, JQuery, JAX-RS, JSON, MySQL, Cassandra, Angular etc.).
◎ Experience in Aspect Oriented Design and Programming and Micro Services Architecture
◎ Strong in Spring Cloud, Spring I/O Platform and Cassandra.
◎ Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
◎ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
◎ An understanding of unit testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), functional testing and performance.
◎ Exposure to AWS, Azure & Google cloud and services.
◎ Advantage of FinTech experience is a plus
